• The use of certain antiarrhythmic drugs (quinidine, ibutilide, solalol, dofetilide, amiodarone) requires caution, since they can cause cardiac arrhythmia of the "pirouette" type.
• Contrasting iodine-containing substances can provoke dehydration while taking diuretic drugs, and increase the risk of acute renal failure.
